University of Rwanda (UR) set up guidelines and rules for writing and submitting different academic papers from internship reports, dissertations and thesis.

The guidelines were approved by the University of Rwanda Senate of 3rd April 2018. The guidelines include formatting guidelines, referencing guidelines with different referencing styles like the American Psychological Association (APA) referencing style, etc.
The guidelines also highlight how different parts of University of Rwanda academic papers are written from the cover page, declaration, acknowledgement, abstract, table of content, list of tables, chapters and subchapters.
