Application for equivalence or Recognition of Academic qualification is done online through irembo services. Visit www.irembo.gov.rw and follow the instructions.
Requirements for application of equivalence:
To apply for academic equivalence, applicants must present the following documents:
-Notarized copy of Certificate / Diploma and Degree for which you are applying for Equivalence/Recognition of Academic Qualification;
-Notarized copy of academic transcripts (for each level);
-Notarized copy of Certificate / Diploma and Degree that served as the basis to allow admission in further level of higher learning for which you are requesting Equivalence. (In a case where this Certificate / Diploma and Degree was awarded by foreign Learning Institution, this meets “Equivalence”),
-Copy of ID card or Passport,
-For applicants graduated from E-learning / Distance, they have to attach a recognition letter issued by relevant examination bodies.
