The Ministry of Education in Rwanda (MINEDUC) has published the calendar for the 2024-2025 academic year and National examinations.

According to the published calendar, the first term will start on 9^th September 2024 and ends on 20^th December 2024. The second term will start on 6^th January 2025 and ends on 4^th April 2025. The third term will start on 21^st April 2025 and ends on 27^th June 2025.

Concerning the National exams, practical exams for Secondary schools will start on 19^th May 2025 and be concluded on 6^th June 2025. The National exams for Primary Students will start on 30^th June 2025 and be concluded on 3^rd July 2025. Written National exams for Secondary schools in both Ordinary and Advanced levels will start on 9^th July 2025 and ends on 18^th July 2025.
